who me ?

I have three email addresses. I check the primary one daily. The other two get checked every 2-3 weeks. I realize that people have to register to post a comment on this blog and that is enough of a block to not bother. That's fine. But I'm actually surprised to hear that people check my blog regularly, anticipating UPDATES. That's just crazy talk ! Wow.

Ok so what I wanted y'all to know is that I'm not just jotting down inspirational crap every few weeks or so. There is a (funny) story and a fair bit of angst behind every one of these postings. This isn't stuff I decide to enlighten people with in my spare time. Life happens and the Holy Spirit is squeezing and molding me-- so I share. I still have a posting sitting on my heart from MONTHS back. I don't let this stuff out lightly. I wanna be 100% certain I'm being directed by the Holy Spirit to post stuff here. I have a journal that I write in often. It's full of personal thoughts, rants, etc. That's not what THIS space is for. This space is a dedicated platform for acknowledging Christ moving in my life. But there are 1,001 ways to skin a cat, so...

What I'm curious to know is if people want to hear the stories behind each posting. A year or so ago, a friend of mine told me that I'm very insightful and can shed light ad nauseum about a wide variety of topics but rarely share what's going on IN / WITH ME. That sorta burst my bubble because I'd been walkin' around thinking that I'm the most open & vulnerable person on the planet... exposing all my joys & wounds for any passerby to see. Apparently not everyone sees me that way. That's probably a good thing. So email, phone or remind me in person to add the LifeStories that go with each post... if that's of any interest.
