a little harsh

Ok, maybe that last post came down on the play a tad harsh. The comments were a bit Hiroshima-ish. But I'm leaving the post up because I'm tired of fluff & grandstanding. While there is merit in measuring one's words, I also value transparency. So I'll reign it in a little and simply say that I'm glad I'm doing the play even though I'm a little disappointed by the quality of the play itself. I haven't read much else of Neil Simon's work so I don't know if he's demonstrated prowess that may have yielded a more inspiring version. It seems very thin compared to the biblical account. But I'm really looking forward to taking part, getting onstage, and observing the inner working of staging a production. I've ventured outside my Comfort Zone and excited to see how it all turns out.
